Cockos REAPER

Description

REAPER is a digital audio workstation designed for Mac. It is a full-featured multitrack environment for recording, editing, processing, mixing, and mastering both audio and MIDI content. Using your current Mac computer and no other software, you can import any audio and MIDI files, synthesize, sample, compose, arrange, edit, mix, and master songs or any other audio projects with the cockos reaper app.

If you add a hardware audio interface of your choice (AD/DA: analog-to-digital/digital-to-analog converter) and a microphone, you will have a fully equipped recording studio on your Mac. It is perfectly suited for recording anything, from a solo performer to a full band or even an entire orchestra.

The reaper cockos application transforms your Mac into the full power equivalent of any top-tier professional recording studio. It will support virtually any existing audio interface available on the market. Even interfaces manufactured by companies whose own software does not allow you to use any other third-party hardware interface will work seamlessly with this cockos reaper application.

In REAPER there are no rigid track types, buses, instrument categories, or offline processing limitations. If you want to create a drum bus, simply add a track above your drum tracks and click the folder button. The drums will automatically be routed into that folder. Once you have dialed in your drum levels and FX exactly where you want them, you can render the folder output to non-destructively freeze the drums and move forward with your project. You can get the cockos reaper download for Mac to experience this streamlined workflow and take full advantage of its flexible routing capabilities on your machine.
